A professional with over 25 years of experience in industry, specialising in flexible packaging, with an extensive track record in R&D, product development, innovation and sustainability. He is currently R&D and Sustainability Director at Plastigaur, where he leads projects focused on developing new packaging solutions, incorporating new materials and technologies, and on recyclability and circular-economy initiatives. He has broad experience managing R&D projects from concept through to industrialisation and customer validation.
Director of Recycling and Recovery at Veolia España, with over 20 years of experience leading recycling and recovery projects at both national and international level. He oversees the group’s plastics recycling plants in Spain —TorrePET by Veolia, specialising in food-contact PET, and La Red by Veolia, dedicated to post-consumer polyolefins and agricultural plastics—. He promotes the uptake of recycled materials in industry and in public procurement as a lever for decarbonisation and for consolidating the recycled plastics market.
Public & Regulatory Affairs lead at Plastics Recyclers Europe. With a background in chemical engineering and both industrial and EU regulatory experience, she works on shaping the policy and technical framework for plastics recycling in Europe. She engages with European institutions, industry and the value chain on dossiers such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and food-contact compliance, promoting practical, science-based solutions for high-quality recycling.
He brings over 25 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing and Product Management within the packaging industry. Throughout his career he has led go-to-market strategies and contributed to brand differentiation across the food and beverage markets in Europe, North America, India and South-East Asia. At Pellenc ST, a leader in the design and manufacture of intelligent sorting and quality-control solutions for the waste and recycling industry, he leads the plastics division, supporting and driving high-impact solutions for a more sustainable future.
Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal at PELLENC ST, a manufacturer of optical sorters based in Marseille. Trained in Industrial Drafting in Barcelona, he made a commercial turn in his career within the automotive sector, where he discovered his vocation for technical sales. Since then he has developed his career across several companies, going on to lead PELLENC ST's business in the Iberian Peninsula, combining strategic vision with a lasting interest in continuous learning.
Has led Dow's sustainability strategy for the EMEA region in the Packaging and Specialty Plastics business since early 2022, driving the company's external engagement on plastics circularity and climate policy. She co-chairs Plastics Europe's Circularity Council and represents Dow in leading European associations such as Ceflex, EUROPEN and BPF. A Chemical Engineer from the University of Santiago de Compostela with an Executive MBA from EAE Business School, she is firmly committed to gender equity through mentoring programmes such as AmChamSpain and Inspira STEM.
Graduate in Environmental Sciences and PhD in Hydrology and Water Resources Management. A senior civil servant since 2018, she began her career at CEDEX’s Centre for Hydrographic Studies and served as Deputy Environmental Counsellor at Spain’s Permanent Representation to the European Union during the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU. She is currently Technical Adviser at the Sub-directorate General for Waste of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, where she coordinates matters relating to packaging and packaging waste and represents Spain in international forums and working groups.

A biologist from the Complutense University of Madrid with a Master's in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Diplomatic School, he has served as Regional Minister for Sustainability and Ecological Transition and spokesperson for the Government of La Rioja, adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and AECID cooperation officer in several countries. He drives Spain's Circular Economy PERTE and ecodesign as engines of the transition toward a more sustainable production model.

Throughout his career he has actively taken part in circular-economy, plastics-recycling and sustainable-industrial-model initiatives, contributing to the representation of the sector at both national and European level.

He represents the second family generation and brings over 30 years of experience in recycling and compounding, with a background in electronics, design and sales. He has led the company's transformation from a basic recycler into a cutting-edge compounder, specialising in the design of innovative materials and solutions for complex recycled products.
Senior analyst on the ICIS plastics recycling analytics team, which she joined in 2019. She tracks the recycled polymers market across the EMEA region and is responsible for research on the European and African markets. Specialising in the European R-PET market, she is the author of ICIS’s R-PET price forecasts for Europe and contributed to the development of the two ICIS Recycling Supply Trackers for mechanical and chemical recycling. She holds a BA in Business & Economics from Trinity College Dublin and a Master in Management from HEC Paris.
Regional Account Manager for Iberia at ICIS, working closely with companies across the chemicals, plastics and recycling industries in Spain and Portugal. He helps businesses use market intelligence, pricing data and insights to navigate changing markets, understand market dynamics and support better commercial and strategic decisions across the value chain.
